
URA 3-1 SC Villa: Kyeyune, Mukwala And Dada On Target As Tax Collectors Thrash Jogoos
Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club returned to their winning ways after a 3-1 victory over Sports Club Villa in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League Matchday22 encounter played at Arena of Visions on Sunday evening.
Saidi Kyeyune gave the Tax Collectors the lead in the first-half before Steven Mukwala and Ibrahim Dada rounded up the score in the second-half.
Sadam Juma scored a consolation goal for the Jogoos who suffered their ninth defeat of the season.
The first chance of the game fell to URA as Kyeyune’s effort from a close range went over the cross bar 9 minutes from the clock.
Steven Mukwala’s header was well saved by SC Villa’s custodian Senkooto Martin from Moses Sseruyidde’s free-kick in 24 minutes.
Before Saidi Kyeyune broke the deadlock for the hosts with a thunderbolt strike from a free-kick for a 1-0 lead in 34 minutes.
It was 1-0 in favor of Tax Collectors at the interval.

After the restart, Steven Mukwala doubled the lead for URA from a low strike for a 2-0 lead in the 64 minutes.
Four minutes to the stoppage time Ibrahim Dada added the third with cool finish for 3-0 lead.
Saddam Juma pulled one back for SC Villa from a penalty kick in the 90+1 minutes but that was not enough as URA held on for a 3-1 win.
The result means URA temporarily moved in the 2nd place of the log with 42 points level with KCCA FC who will play tomorrow against Busoga United. SC Villa meanwhile are rooted in the 12 place of the log with 22 points from 22 matches.
