SUPL MD22 WRAP: Bright Stars Gain A Point In Relegation Fight, Gaddafi Held To Goalless Draw By Police
Startimes Uganda Premier League continued on Saturday as two teams locked horns with their opponents during their respective Matchday22 encounters.
Gaddafi FC 0-0 Police FC:
Gaddafi Football Club were held to a goalless draw by PoliCe Football Club at Gaddafi Barracks Stadium.
The draw means Gaddafi FC remained in the 8th place of the log but moved to 27 points after 22 games.
Police FC meanwhile leapfrogged Onduparaka FC in the 9th place of the log with 24 points from 22 matches.
Bright Stars FC 0-0 UPDF FC:
Lastly at Kavumba Recreation Center, Bright Stars FC and Uganda Peoples Defense Force Football Club could not be seperated after playing to a goalless stalemate.
The draw means Bright Stars FC remained rooted in the 2nd place from the bottom of the log but moved to 20 points just two points adrift safety while UPDF FC are in the 11th place of the log with 24 points from 22 matches.
