‘Fans Were Marvelous’- Dudu Bosco Praises Onduparaka FC Fans After Another Step In The Right Direction
Technical director Dudu Bosco has praised Onduparaka Football Club fans after they roared their team to a 2-1 win over Wakiso Gaints FC at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium on Friday evening.
The match saw the West Nile jumbos took a huge step towards StarTimes Uganda Premier League survival.
Norman Ojik and Emmanuel Oketch scored in either sides of the encounter to hand the Caterpillars the much needed points while Sam Ssenyonjo bagged a consolation goal for the Purple Sharks.
Speaking after the game, Dudu Bosco told club media: ” I must say as a club we are very excited for the three points, We worked for it very hard, the players did their part, management did their part.”
“Fans were marvelous in supporting us, You could see that we were marching even the numbers of the home team and that’s the spirit of working together.”
On working together and Relegation:
“We are going to keep working together for the remaining eight games.”
“When we were left with 10 games we were at the relegation zone, we made it clear with the players that we are looking for 30 points we have got six, we have 24 to go and we are going to work hard on this what ever we get we shall go by that.”
Victory lifted Onduparaka Football Club to the 9th place of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League log with 24 points from 22 matches.
