The Caterpillars bounced back from a 3-1 league defeat to KCCA FC to beat Tooro United FC 2-1 in the Stanbic Uganda Cup clash where they progressed to the last 16 of the showe-piece.

As for Gaddafi FC they head into this particular encounter after being knocked out of Stanbic Uganda Cup with a 1-0 defeat to Police FC. However the Soldier Boys registered a 1-0 victory against Mbarara City in their previous league encounter.

Rashid Okockha remains sidelined as he continues to serve his suspension while the duo of Atamba Nathaniel and Gadafi Gadinho are expected to make their SUPL debuts for the Caterpillars after recieving their licences for the club.
Peter Onen charges meanwhile will be without the tetrad of Otim James, Muwawu Faisal, Musana Hassan and Buchochera Jamaldine who didn’t travel with the team to Arua due to various injuries.
