History Beckons For Tipsha FC As They Host Kitara FC In SUC Round 32

A spot in the last 16 of the Stanbic Uganda Cup will be at stake when West Nile Regional League entity Tipsha Football Club welcome second-tier side Kitara FC at Nyarilo Play Grounds on Wednesday 23/02/22 at 16h00.

Ranked 7th in the Nyagak Zone table standings, Tipsha FC have collected 10 points from 9 games. On 18 points, Kitara FC see themselves ranked 6th in the FUFA Big League table standings after 12 matches

The Ball Drivers got to this stage after shocking newly prompted UPL side Arua Hill Sports Club 6-5 on penalties following a 2-2 draw in the normal time of the clash.

“Ahead of today’s game everything is set and our main target is to eliminate Kitara FC,” Kokole Swaib Tipsha FC PRO disclosed to Dribbler Sports on a personal phone call interview.

“We have received alot of support from Koboko LC5 Chairman Mambo Ashraf who has handed us new jerseys including some bit of finance plus a car for mobilization. We have also received supports from businessman Garibino and Centenary Bank and also the fans and the players are well prepared and ready for the clash.”

Kitara FC on the other hand got to this stage after beating Kireka Young 5-3 on penalties following a 1-1 draw at Phillip Omondi Stadium last month.

Tipsha FC have been boasted by the timely arrivals of custodian Kamori Joshua, Mahad Abdul Omar and Michael Mugisha. The trio have been taken up due to school engagements.

New signings Wasswa and former Vurra FC skipper Eruga Micheal have all recieved their licences and are set to make their debuts against Kitara FC this evening.
