Express and Tooro Share Spoils In Four Goal Thriller
Express Football Club and Tooro United FC dished out a stunning second half performance that produced four goals as they settled for a 2-2 draw during their StarTimes Uganda Premier League clash at Wankulukuku Stadium on Friday afternoon.
George Senkaaba bagged a magical brace for the Red Eagles while Hussein Mwannje and Musa Doca scored for Tooro United as both sides settled for a 2-all draw.
Following a goalless draw Senkaaba opened the lead for Express FC but Hussein Mwannje leveled matters for the visitors after converting from a spot kick in the 66 minutes.
Moments later Musa Doca doubled the lead for the Roaring Lions with a cool header past Red Eagles’ custodian Joel Mutakubwa.
Nine minutes to stoppage time Senkaaba completed his own brace after striking past Tooro United’s goalkeeper Lukyamuzi Kenneth as both sides settled for a 2-2 draw.
The draw means Express FC moved to the 3rd place of the log with 29 points after 17 points while Tooro United are at the bottom of the log with 8 points after 17 points.
Express Fc are back in action on Friday 18th Feb 2022 away to Busoga United at Kakindu Municipal Stadium while Tooro United host SC Villa on Wednesday 16th Feb 2022 at Buhinga Stadium.
