Mbarara City have been busy during this secondary transfer after losing some of their key players to fellow SUPL sides. They also signed Najib Tusaba Gwaido and Charles Ssempa.
The Ankole Lions have already confirmed the departures of their long serving captain Hilary Mukundane and offensive midfielder Raymond Derrick Onyai. Meanwhile defender Ronald Otti has extended his contract with the club until the end of the season.
The club will be under the stewardship of Sadiq Ssempigi who recently parted ways with West Nile based SUPL entity Arua Hill Sports Club.
Ssempigi has already announced that creative midfielder Solomon Okwalinga will be the new team captain of the club. He will bed deputized by midfielders Swalik “Bebe” Ssegujja and Pistis Barenge as the first and second assistants respectively.
Musisi will be in line to make his debut when Mbarara City visit Bright Stars Football Club in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League early next month.
