
MBARARA CITY FC SIGN ONDUPARAKA FC DEFENDER
StarTimes Uganda Premier League entity Mbarara City Football Club have acquired the services of Onduparaka FC defender Dudu Ramathan.
According to reports published on Monday 31/01/22 by Swift Sports, Dudu Ramathan will sign a 6 months deal with an option to extend depending on his performances with the Ankole Lions.
Dudu has previously featured for SC Villa, Lweza FC and Onduparaka FC (2 years),
He turns into membership the fourth signing for the club during this secondary transfer after the arrivals of Najib Tusaba Gwaido, Charles Ssempa and Henry Musisi.
The Ankole Lions have already confirmed the departures of their long serving captain Hilary Mukundane and offensive midfielder Raymond Derrick Onyai. Meanwhile defender Ronald Otti has extended his contract with the club until the end of the season.
The club will be under the stewardship of Sadiq Ssempigi who recently parted ways with West Nile based SUPL entity Arua Hill Sports Club.
Ssempigi has already announced that creative midfielder Solomon Okwalinga will be the new team captain of the club. He will be deputized by midfielders Swalik “Bebe” Ssegujja and Pistis Barenge as the first and second assistants respectively.
Dudu will be in line to make his debut when Mbarara City visit Bright Stars Football Club in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League early next month.
